How We Collect It:

Data is extracted from the job posting webpage you're viewing when you click the SponsorCheck extension icon. The extension only collects data from pages where you explicitly activate it.

2. Data Usage

How We Use Your Data:

Analyze job descriptions using AI to predict visa sponsorship likelihood
Search our H1B database for company sponsorship history
Store aggregated data to improve our sponsorship prediction accuracy
Generate analytics on job market sponsorship trends

            We DO NOT:
            Sell your data to third parties
Share personally identifiable information
Track your browsing history beyond job posting pages you explicitly analyze
Collect personal information like your name, email, or resume data

        

3. Data Storage

Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS to our backend API (api.sponsorcheck.work)
Job posting information is stored in our Supabase database for analytics purposes
We retain data indefinitely to improve our prediction models and provide historical insights
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security practices

4. Third-Party Services

SponsorCheck uses the following third-party services:

Mistral AI - For job description analysis (data is processed according to Mistral's privacy policy)
Supabase - For data storage (data is stored according to Supabase's privacy policy)

5. User Rights

You have the right to:

Stop using the extension at any time by uninstalling it
Request deletion of your data by contacting us
Opt out of data collection by not using the extension
Request a copy of the data we have collected (if applicable)

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
Secure API authentication
Regular security updates and monitoring
Access controls and data protection measures

7. Children's Privacy

SponsorCheck is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
